Report from the exhibition by Susanna Lau
Clemency London is part of the BFC/ELLE Talent Launch Pad this season, and designer Alison Clemency-Buddenhagen has once again pushed intricate detailing, as illustrated by the beautiful beaded collar I’m wearing here. It’s detachable from the white shirt, which has layers of silk that form a bib detail on the front. I’m calling it a dress… well, just about! David Longshaw, another Talent Launch-Padder, has once again collaborated with his girlfriend Kirsty Ward (who has a budding collection of her own) for a collection of jewellery that I love for its unique mix of hardware. I’ve been a longtime fan of Bebaroque, who do beautiful embellished hosiery that is always eye-catching, and these black numbers, decked out with paillettes and tassels, are no exception.
